Catalyst by Nature Link is a brand new luxury lakeside wedding venue located in Nisswa, MN that is currently being built and is set to open mid-September of 2022. We are looking for passionate, hard-working individuals to manage the venue on event days. The Venue Manager is someone who is responsible for ensuring a high level of service to all users of the building (staff, clients, guests, vendors, etc). The primary duty of this role is to oversee all operations of the facility and be Catalyst’s main contact on the day of the event. This includes the management of all staff, vendors, communication with clients and guests, the oversight of all procedures throughout the day, and quick resolution of any problems that may come up.
Job Type: Part Time, Contracted Work
Experience: 2 years in events industry (preferred)
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
-Complete opening/closing checklists on the day of the event
-Work closely with Catalyst’s Operations Manager and Director of Operations in all aspects related to the day of the event
-Work with the Leadership Team to oversee the management of the cleaning contract, ensuring the highest standards are maintained throughout the building
-Introduce yourself to your client and let them know you are there to help with anything throughout the day
-Work with vendors and show them around their respective areas
-Notify The Leadership Team of any building maintenance issues
-Work with Client’s Day of Coordinator to answer any questions about the venue and property
-Work with Facility Manager throughout the event ensuring safety of all guests and staff
-Welcome guests and direct them through the property/facility as needed
-Identify and quickly resolve any problems that may arise the day of while maintaining a stress free situation.
-Publicly represent Catalyst in a prepared and professional manner.

-Ability to work 12+ hours on wedding days

-2+ years in the event industry is preferred but not required
Working days: Mainly Friday/Saturday shifts. Some Sunday/Thursday shifts.
Hours per week: Between 0-18+ (We require a minimum of 3 shifts per quarter to stay on staff.)
